The introduction of this facility will fully meet the country's demand for glass products.
The factory designs and produces seven types of products including transparent glass, colored glass, laminated glass, tempered glass and double-glazed windows, with a total annual output of 7.2 million square meters.
In addition, the company will produce 85 million various transparent and colored beverage containers, as well as pharmaceutical vials ranging from 0.3 to 3 liters.
-The production of glass by flotation is an industrial innovation in my country. The company’s technical lines include raw material preparation workshops, smelting workshops, "Calais bath" workshops for the production of various sizes and thicknesses of flat glass, hardening workshops and finished product production workshops," said Guvanch Garayev, director of the float glass production workshop.
Equipped with modern energy-saving technology, high-quality, and diverse products, the company will have strong competitiveness and position itself in the broad development direction of this market.
Guvanch Garayev said that the factory's withdrawal of its designed capacity will greatly reduce the import of related products and eventually adjust its exports.
Please note that the construction of a large industrial park and factory began in 2015 to produce quartz sand, the main raw material for glass production. The project was implemented within the framework of the National Import Substitution Program and increased the export potential of the national economy.
