Designed by H&A Associati, the NH Collection Venezia Murano villa celebrates the iconic city’s industrial heritage with the help of furnace-shaped windows and exposed brickwork.
Murano is known for producing excellent glassware, which helped shape the design concept of this extraordinary hotel.
The newly opened NH Collection Venezia Murano villa hotel now welcomes guests in the former Fornace De Majo glass factory. Located on Murano Island, overlooking the Venetian Lagoon, this 4-star hotel has an unforgettable H&A Associati design concept.
Interestingly, the plan preserves a complex of 12 original buildings and uses every opportunity to pay tribute to the site’s past, from furnace-shaped windows, original chimneys and exposed bricks to artwork and glassware.
Several brands have collaborated with H&A Associati to realize the vision of this redesigned space. For example, Artemide created a series of glass and metal lamps, Rubelli used Venetian fabrics as decorations and lagoon-inspired colors, Zucchetti provided faucets, Saba Italia and Calligaris provided tables and chairs, and Technogym was responsible for fitness equipment.

"In this case, the goal of NH Collection Venezia Murano Villa is to allow our guests to breathe the authentic atmosphere of the historic glass factory from the moment they arrive. We cooperate with the owner and architect to realize a dream To restore value to the extraordinary character of this place."
The core of this 4,800 square meter space is the central courtyard, which leads directly to the suites and hotel restaurant, extending from the main entrance of Fondamenta Navagero to the other side overlooking the lagoon.
The hotel’s 104 rooms and suites are equipped with unique furniture and Murano glassware, as well as attractive facilities such as rain showers, flat-screen TVs, espresso machines and Sleep Better Mattresses. Guests can dine at the on-site lagoon-view restaurant, where the a la carte menu is inspired by local culinary traditions, or enjoy a drink at two bars, one of which has its own terrace.
Other facilities in the hotel include a spa and a 24-hour gym, as well as five modular and adaptable meeting rooms that can accommodate 130 people. Last but not least, the NH Collection Venezia Murano is adjacent to Navagero Park, which is exclusively used by the hotel at night and benefits from a traditional private Venetian dock for easy mooring.
