The complex includes a hotel, next-generation cinema, three AAA office buildings, and 121,750 square meters (1,310,500 square feet) of the five-story Parque Toreo shopping mall. The complex occupies an area adjacent to a new 60-kilometer (37.3-mile) long The highway, which connects the north and south of the city, allows most high-income communities in the city’s metropolitan area to easily reach shopping centers and other parts of the complex.
The Parque Toreo shopping mall is supervised by Fibra Danhos, the construction manager of Grupo Danhos-the owner of the building-designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos. It showcases a striking architectural design that includes an all-glass roof that provides natural ventilation and sky views, while According to Eva Rodriguez, manager of the business center, visitors are still protected from rain and excessive solar radiation.
In order to make the experience more enjoyable than a typical fully enclosed shopping mall, one of the most prominent features of the glass roof of the Parque Toreo shopping center is the glass dome, which displays a highly transparent diamond patterned glass structure.
The dome above the commercial area and the elevated glass in the lobby and entrance are all using SentryGlas® interlayer, providing a total laminated glass area of approximately 20,000 square meters (215,278 square feet) of laminated glass-18,000 square meters (193,750 square feet) for the dome and 2,000 Square feet m2 (21,527 ft2) is used for lobby and entrance.

A 60-mil PVB was originally designated for the project, but it was switched to 35-mil SentryGlas® for two main reasons. First, laminates containing SentryGlas® have higher stiffness, allowing longer spans and supporting glass on both sides.
Moreover, since each glass plate is connected with the next glass plate with silica gel (Sikasil WS-305 cn)-due to the excellent compatibility of SentryGlas® with various glass sealants, this is a common installation method- From below, this gives the impression of good transparency with minimal support. The second reason is attributed to the excellent post-fracture performance of laminates containing SentryGlas®.
This is considered critical because the huge glass roof requires frequent maintenance, and because it is surrounded by three office buildings, the probability of damage caused by falling objects is higher than for conventional projects.
