As GlassBuild America 2021 gains momentum, its exhibitors also gain momentum. Glass and glass companies are combining new products with time-tested real products, which marks a solid present and an innovative future.

The machinery and equipment of Keraglass USA are the front and center of GBA 2021.

Keraglass USA brought its machine to Atlanta to showcase its roller cleaning machine for attendees to scan. "We have samples of laminated glass with digital printing inside," said Franco Capecchi, sales director. "... We can easily customize equipment for customers. This is actually what we do 50% of the time."

The shortage of raw materials has always been a challenge for adhesive manufacturers. Daubert Chemicals keeps stocks for customers in adversity.

The Daubert team demonstrated the adhesive and unique design at GBA 2021.

"We produce adhesives for profile packaging," said Mike VandenBerg, Director of Adhesives. "I think it will continue to support the industry. [We] showed the main part of the product line and said, "This is something that will not disappear. "Putting decorative materials above strict service is more popular today than it was five years ago, and it will be even more popular five years later."

Reliable's AEL-42 blinds stand out in GBA 2021.

Reliable has honed its iconic products, highlighting its historic shutters. "These are our AEL-42 blinds," said Dorothy Thomas, business development manager. "There is a glass frame adapter around it. It can be installed in any window system instead of a piece of glass. We have been building it for about 40 years."

Throughout the pandemic, Reliable's sales have remained stable, but it is looking for creative ways to reach customers from a distance. Due to the shortage of container and truck drivers, Corpoplast Tape Corporation feels that COVID is trying to monopolize the industry, but it is still grateful for product demand.

Corpoplast's team and its tapes aim to please GBA 2021.

"Every year, we showcase our single-sided and double-sided tape product portfolio," said sales manager Ann-Kristin Gehle. "But we always ensure that new products enter the market. At present, we are working hard to promote and promote new acrylic masking tape."

Better Vacuum Cups has been providing woodworking vacuum cups since its establishment in 2005. Today, the company also offers stone and glass vacuum cups. "The grip strength of our vacuum cup is twice that of others," said shop owner Mike McLaren. "You can use half of the cups. When you make a large glass table, you can set up seven vacuum cups instead of 15 vacuum cups and cut the setup time by half."

McLaren joined the glass vacuum cup ten years after the company was founded.

McLaren hopes to save time so that builders can go to their respective mechanical stations at the end of the day.

Tecnoglass also exhibited a new product, NanoEC smart glass, which has the ability to integrate with existing smart technology. This can make Windows the newest member of the family's fleet controlled by Amazon Alexa. The color tone can be automatically darkened or brightened according to the external environment, which can reduce energy waste and reduce costs.

Ray-Bar Engineering Corp. exhibited a selection of samples with different types of safety glass that can provide protection from bullets, explosions, ballistics, radiation, and fire. Vince Wohler, vice president of Ray-Bar, pointed out that there were very few attendances on the first day, but that it was important to go out and meet customers in person.

Arizona Shower Door Inc. showed a series of barn doors, but one of them is the notable one in the company's product portfolio, the all-glass bypass barn door. Compared to a normal barn door that is opened and closed by one fixed panel and another sliding, the bypass addition has two moving panels. Especially for all-glass ones, some pieces of hardware are replaced with glass sheets-such as a towel bar, which spans a panel, where people usually hope to find a metal rod.

GlassBuild America will continue until tomorrow. Please continue to pay attention to usglassmag.com for more news and updates from the exhibition.
