8:53 a.m. — Caller at Highland School Apartments advising she was scammed by hackers, unknowingly gave them full access to her computer and accounts. Caller has contacted her bank and was advised to have her computer serviced by a professional.

1:33 p.m. — Caller states there is a loud “engine-like” noise coming from the upstairs apartment on North Street and it is disturbing her. No one answered the door. Noise sounds like a washing machine or some other appliance.

10:04 p.m. — Caller reports a vehicle with no lights on driving very slow northbound on Federal Street. Officers advised but tied up on another call. Leverett Police out with the vehicle.

1:17 p.m. — Caller reports a dark green Toyota SUV has been running for quite some time on Fourth Street, believes they may be selling drugs. Officer advised.

11:18 p.m. — Caller reports loud music and noise coming from the Sheffield Elementary School playground, reports seeing four individuals. Officer checked the school area, gone on arrival.

11:07 a.m. — Caller reports a man is damaging a sculpture on Avenue A. No damage observed by the officer. Party moved along.

4:19 p.m. — Caller reports a deer was struck by a vehicle, is badly injured. Located on Route 63, south of Gunn Road. Driver of the vehicle that struck the deer also called to report the incident, states she sustained damage to the front end of her vehicle and is returning to the scene. Officer advised the deer has been dispatched. MassDOT was advised the deer will need to be picked up.

5:18 a.m. — Caller on Third Street states there is loud banging from the upstairs apartment.

4:06 p.m. — Caller from Lauralyn J. Brown Veterinary Hospital on Millers Falls Road states someone brought in a cat in particularly poor health. Clinic is concerned about returning the cat to the owner given its condition. Owner also spoke with an officer, was advised of options. Owner planned to contact animal control officer.

5:08 p.m. — Caller on Federal Street states he had an issue with a neighbor in the past; this evening, the man came to the house with a firearm, threatened to harm him. Caller states the man drives a black Honda. Situation not as reported.

9:28 a.m. — Caller reports an old ferry boat in the river near Cabot Camp. A lifeboat with life vests is tied to it. Requesting a welfare check. No issues found.

8:31 p.m. — Caller states she was walking a friend’s dog near L Street, witnessed someone in a backyard steal some Ryobi tools with spare batteries and take off running. Caller states she also heard what sounded like gunshots. Received other calls of similar sounds of gunfire in the area of L and 4th streets. Reports of loud noises possibly coming more from the Unity Park area. Area checked, all appears well downtown. Officers will continue to canvas the area.

10:08 a.m. — Caller reports their red school bus in the parking lot of the First Congregational Church was vandalized and glass was broken. Officer was unable to make contact with a witness.

5:04 p.m. — Caller on I Street reports his car was broken into overnight. His parents noticed his car doors wide open at approximately 7 a.m., but caller just got home to report it. Officer advised.

10:04 p.m. — Caller on Second Street reports her neighbor and another party are outside screaming at each other and honking a car horn. The car is a black four-door sedan with a missing bumper. Officer advised the vehicle pulled away as he was coming down Second Street.

10:34 a.m. — Caller advises there is a snake in her North Taylor Hill Road house, currently trapped under a box cover. Animal control advised.

4:43 p.m. — Caller reports there is an alarm going off, unknown where it is coming from. Could be heard from the alleyway but not from Fourth Street. Officer advised the sound is coming from a 15-foot dumpster that is full of trash, unable to locate the object it is coming from.

7:02 p.m. — Caller on Park Street states her neighbor keeps putting a chair in front of her driveway or on the tree belt. Caller keeps giving it back to her but it is continuously happening. Officer advised the parties are outside arguing. Officer advised the situation is mediated, parties have been advised of options.

1:14 a.m. — Caller on Farren Avenue reports loud noise from the apartment above him. Officer advised contact was made, man will be quiet for the night.

3:06 p.m. — Caller reports seeing a child sitting on a woman’s lap in the front seat of a green PT Cruiser going over the Turners Falls-Gill Bridge. Officer advised.

12:51 p.m. — Building on Third Street was entered and a chair was smashed either overnight or this morning. Caller requested the information be logged. No response requested.

3:31 p.m. — Caller on Third Street states he fired his personal care attendant and she is yelling at him. He would like an officer to respond, make sure she leaves. Caller then called back, stated the PCA has left so there is no need for an officer.

8:33 a.m. — Caller on Turners Falls Road reports his adult son is out of control, behavior is erratic. He may have a knife on him, but he did not threaten anybody with it. Officers requesting an ambulance for evaluation due to vomiting and dizziness. Officer took male party into custody.

12:19 p.m. — Caller on Farren Avenue reports ongoing threats and harassment from another tenant, would like it on record. Yelling and intimidation involved.

5:47 p.m. — DCF employees en route to Police Station to meet an officer to retrieve a child on Fourth Street.

8:40 p.m. — Caller states he was having an issue with an intoxicated woman at his J Street apartment who refused to leave. Caller states once a neighbor started calling for police she left, no longer needs officers to respond.

10:01 a.m. — Caller states a Milwaukee circular saw was taken from the back of his van while he was parked in front of Aubuchon Hardware on Avenue A yesterday afternoon. Officer spoke with the caller who now believes it was taken from his home instead.

3:52 p.m. — Caller states there is a dirt bike traveling in the southbound lane of Turners Falls Road but heading north, driving straight at the caller’s vehicle.

5:18 p.m. — Caller at Keith Apartments reports her neighbor is screaming and throwing things around. Officer unable to make contact; there was a vacuum running and she wasn’t answering the door. Caller was advised to call back if the problem persists.

6:57 p.m. — Medical alarm company on Park Villa Drive reports a subscriber would like to report someone stealing money from their debit card. Caller was advised of her options. Incident did not occur in Montague.

8:55 p.m. — Caller states he can hear the announcer and music coming from the Montague Retreat Center on Ripley Road. Officer checked both sides of the retreat and in front of the caller’s residence, states no noise could be heard.

6:02 a.m. — Caller on Craig Avenue reports his vehicle was gone through this morning at around 5 a.m., advises he has the individual on tape from his Ring video doorbell. Nothing believed to have been taken.

6:33 a.m. — Caller on Third Street reports someone left a jar of marijuana on her doorstep. Caller advises she took it inside, will be keeping the marijuana.

11:57 p.m. — Caller on L Street reports hearing someone throw rocks at her window about 10 minutes ago. Caller requests area be checked. Officer spoke with the caller’s husband who advised noise happened twice; people ran down the alleyway the first time. Checking the area, cabbage was located in the alleyway. Officer to remain in the area for a while.

1:30 a.m. — Caller reports as she was leaving work at Between the Uprights, she noticed people take off running and observed that the stoop of the building had been spray painted. Caller does not wish to speak with anyone, but does want the incident logged. Officer drove by, did not observe any spray paint/graffiti.

4:03 a.m. — Caller on Third Street reports the upstairs tenant is being loud, slamming things and yelling. Reportedly ongoing for several hours. Officer made contact with woman on the third floor, who was advised of the complaint and will keep it down. Caller later called back and requested a log note that the involved party was making noise again.

8:12 p.m. — Caller states there is a suspicious black car driving around the Turners Falls High School parking lot. Vehicle left while caller was on the phone.

10:53 a.m. — Caller states there is a large group of men setting up tents on the grassy section of Unity Park by the river. Caller states they are being loud and disruptive. It is police and fire personnel participating in drills.

12:09 p.m. — Caller reports an accident on Avenue A near Doyle’s Car Wash, not sure how many vehicles are involved. One party appears to be out of the vehicle walking around. Caller is working at Cumberland Farms and heard the accident. Second caller is involved party, states she was rear-ended by another vehicle, no injuries. Tow requested for one vehicle.
